Mini mission mitzvah
It's time once again for New Frontier's annual Mini-Mission-Mitzvah! An amazing regional day dedicated to making a real difference in some of our local community service organizations.
This year we will be focusing our efforts in San Francisco. We have several incredible projects that need your help! Whether you are looking for an enjoyable and meaningful way to spend your Sunday, can't wait another minute to hang out with your New Fro friends and meet other Jewish teens just like you, or you wanna have fun while fulfilling those necessary community service hours for school, Mini-Mission-Mitzvah is the perfect day for you!
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON JANUARY 3RD. REGISTER NOW TO BE PART OF THIS SPECIAL DAY.
Mini-Mission-Mitzvah is patterned off of the USY on Wheels Summer Program Mission Mitzvah, which is an unbelievable cross country bus trip that includes hands-on community service projects as teens tour and explore cities throughout the US. While we will not be travelling out of New Frontier, USYers will get a taste of the impact of these bus trips and have the opportunity to participate in multiple service projects.
Beginning at Congregation Beth Sholom, USYers and staff will board our transporter for the day. As we make our way to four different destinations, we will play games, share insights, and of course eat delicious meals and snacks!
The organizations we will be working with this year are varied, allowing not only for a mixture of activities, but also a chance to discover the many ways in which we can support our community.
